Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Series of FREE Events at NSU – Sept. 15 to Nov. 1

Nova Southeastern University (NSU) will recognize Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 – Oct. 15) by celebrating and learning about the Latin culture through a series of events for children, adults and families throughout the fall.

One highlight of the series will be the FREE Hispanic Heritage Month Fiesta on Saturday, Oct. 10 from 1-3 p.m. It will feature a meet-and-greet with a favorite Explorer-Gal, authentic mariachi music by Mariachi Pancho Villa and the storytelling performance of Pura Belpré Award-winning author Lucia Gonzalez.


Michael Fields Named Dean of NSU’s Business School

Michael Fields, Ph.D, has been named dean of the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). The announcement was made today by NSU President Ray Ferrero, Jr.

In his role, Fields will serve as the chief academic and administrative officer of NSU’s business school.
