Former NSU Chancellor, Alexander Schure, Dies at 89
Alexander Schure, Ph.D., the chancellor of Nova University (now Nova Southeastern University) from 1970-85 and an educational visionary, passed away on Oct. 29 in New York at the age of 89.

A walk for the prevention of suicide will be held at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) on Sunday, Nov. 22. The Out of the Darkness Community Walk will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in its mission to prevent suicide and assist those affected by suicide.
Nova Southeastern University Awarded Suicide and Violence Prevention Grant
Nova Southeastern University (NSU) has announced that it has been awarded a Campus Suicide Prevention Grant Award by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA). The three-year grant is an annual award of $100,000 which will be matched by the University each year.
