Nova Southeastern University to host free Webinar on Substance Abuse, Sept. 28
The webinar will address substance use disorders, a critical South Florida challenge. The event, called “It Takes a Village: Addiction, Recovery & Community”, is part of National Recovery Month. The free webinar will be broadcast from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from the NSU’s Health Professions Division (HPD) at the university’s main Davie campus.

HPD Chancellor to be Honored by American Cancer Society
Several individuals will be honored at the Gala. One of them is Fred Lippman, R.Ph., Ed.D., chancellor of Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Health Professions Division and former member of the Florida House of Representatives. Lippman is being honored for his work as a state lawmaker, where he fought for legislation to protect children and senior citizens, and to improve Florida’s health care system.
