Bahamas Ministry of Tourism Receives Three-week Sales and Marketing Program from NSU’s Hudson Center
The Hudson Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Education at the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship delivered a three-week Sales and Marketing Program for 19 employees from the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, taught by John Riggs, D.B.A. and Dena Hale, Ph.D. The training focused on applicable and practical elements of sales and marketing as it pertains to the tourism industry in the Bahamas.
Participants utilized the Huizenga Sales Institute’s presentation rooms to practice and reinforce sales skills. Representatives from the Ministry were later able to view the presentations to see the progress being made.
Students of the M.B.A. Sales Management program joined the group for one session and were pitched the idea of taking a group trip to The Bahamas. The M.B.A. students gained experience in coaching through this interaction. The three-week program culminated on May 17, 2013 with team sales presentations to the Minister of Tourism.
