Walgreens Executives Attend Sales Seminars at NSU

More than 300 executives and managers from Walgreens gathered on NSU’s main campus on Tuesday, Aug. 9 for two sales/coaching seminars offered through the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business & Entrepreneurship. The first seminar was given to more than 90 managers, supervisors and executives, which was held in the morning at the Huizenga Sales Institute’s Grand Room. The second seminar was given to more than 225 mangers supervising stores in South Florida, andwas held in the Silverman Auditorium at the Epstein Center for the Arts. Both presentations focused on accountability and coaching, and were given by Huizenga Business School professor and sales expert John F. Riggs.

“Our teams really connected with the material, but even more so, with the warm and engaging style that Professor Riggs demonstrated throughout the presentations,” said Marco Nozicka, Talent Development Manager of the Southeast Region for Walgreens. “It was well worth our time and energy to have our Walgreens leaders and managers attend these sessions.”
