SHSS Student Appointed to the Broward County Human Rights Board
Brandon Hensler, master’s student in the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), was appointed to the Broward County Human Rights Board (BCHRB) in June 2012. The board encourages equal treatment and seeks to prevent discrimination against racial, religious, ethnic or other minority groups.
Hensler, an associate director in the office of NSU’s Public Affairs, earned his B.A. in International Affairs/Latin American Studies from Miami University of Ohio and is accredited in Public Relations by the Universal Accreditation Board. Prior to joining NSU Hensler was the director of communications for the ACLU of Florida.
