SHSS Alum named Acting Executive Director for the AKILAH Institute for Women in Rwanda
Holly Ziskal, M.S., a graduate of the master’s program in the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS), is serving as the Acting Executive Director of the AKILAH Institute for Women in Kigali, Rwanda. AKILAH was designed to empower young women and provide them with the knowledge and skills to become entrepreneurs and leaders.
Ziskal had been in Rwanda at the institute working in Admissions and External Relations. Her interests include human rights and social justice, as well as empowerment for women and conflict transformation.
