AcademicFest, Sept. 6

The Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences is pleased to invite you to the third in a series of Academic Fests scheduled to take place in 2010-2012.

Don Taft University Center
Performing and Visual Arts Wing

Tuesday, September 6

11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

Shuttle buses will be provided from several main campus venues, the North Miami Beach Campus, the Oceanographic Center, and East Campus.

NSU faculty and staff are invited to join the college for lunch to learn more about its programs, services, and community engagement initiatives. Some of the highlights include student and faculty research, student support services, value-added programs, and performing and visual arts partnerships.

The concept of NSU’s Academic Fest series originated from the University’s Communications Task Force. Feedback from the Gallup surveys and the Chancellor’s Town Hall meetings show that NSU’s faculty and staff had a need and desire to learn more about our university. Academic Fest will offer a series of open houses featuring specific colleges or divisions.
