Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry Professor Heidi Wagner, O.D., was installed as a distinguished practitioner-member of the National Academies of Practice (NAP) on April 6 at the annual membership banquet held in Arlington, Va.
The National Academies of Practice was founded in 1981 in recognition of the need for interdisciplinary collaboration in health care. It’s comprised of distinguished practitioners and scholars from the primary health professions now including ten disciplines: dentistry, nursing, optometry, osteopathic medicine, medicine, psychology, podiatric medicine, social work, veterinary medicine, and pharmacy.
The College of Optometry congratulates Wagner on her achievement!
