NSU Undergrad Wins iPad in Sales Pitch Contest
NSU undergraduate students recently entered the “uPitch for iPad” sales pitch contest. The “uPitch for iPad” participants filmed a 60-second video sales pitch in the new Huizenga Sales Institute using the theme: “Why I am NSU.”
A panel of faculty judges selected five finalist videos which were posted online for public voting. The judge’s scores were combined with open online voting to determine the winners. First prize was awarded to Cherie Macfarlane, who won a 16GB Apple iPad and a $1,000 university-sponsored donation to the American Marketing Association. Second prize was awarded to Anthony Campenni, who received a $250 American Express gift card, and third prize was awarded to Jean Souffrant, who received a $100 American Express gift card.
