NSU Library Introduces New Digital Collections that Explore NSU History
The NSU community is invited to see how the school got its start. Explore the new NSU Digital Collections, which is a collaborative project between the Alvin Sherman Library and the Nova Southeastern University Archives.
This online collection consists of more than 160 primarily black and white photographs that document NSU’s history. Also included are contextual essays penned by the Director of the NSU Archives, Robert Bogorff, as well as four books on the history of the university. Beginning in 1966, the photographs provide an insight into the early life and culture of NSU.
This project would have not been possible without the wisdom and insight of Robert Bogorff, NSU Archives Director. The Alvin Sherman Library staff and librarians who also made this project possible include Cathy Elios, Cheryl Peltier-Davis, Deborah Tritt and Lydia Acosta – vice president for information services and university librarian.
The NSU Digital Collections are available at http://www.nova.edu/library/dl/ or at http://www.nova.edu/archives/.
