Nova Southeastern University Chancellor Wins Distinguished Service Award
Nova Southeastern University Chancellor Ray Ferrero Jr. J.D, was the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award 2010 from the Florida Association of Colleges and Universities (FACU).
Stephanie G. Brown, Ed.D., has been promoted to Vice President of Enrollment and Student Services at Nova Southeastern University (Nova). The announcement was made by Nova chancellor Ray Ferrero, Jr., J.D.

NSU Ranks No. 1 in the Nation in Awarding Doctoral Degrees to Hispanics for Third Consecutive Year
The Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education Magazine ranked Nova Southeastern University (Nova) as the number one institution in the nation in the number of doctoral degrees awarded to Hispanics. The ranking was published in the magazine’s 2011 “Top 100 Colleges for Hispanics” edition.
NSU Horizons magazine wins first place in Sunshine State Journalism awards
Nova Southeastern University’s (NSU) Horizons magazine won first place in the trade/special interest publication category during the 2011 Sunshine State Awards. The statewide journalism competition, which recognizes Florida’s best work of 2010, is presented by the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ), South Florida Pro Chapter. The awards were presented during a ceremony at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel on Saturday, June 11.
