Marlins Community Foundation Presents Scholarship to Huizenga Business School

Billy the Marlin; Jeffrey Fountain, Ph.D., associate professor of sport management; Jade Chen, manager of scholarships and special events; D. Michael Fields, Ph. D., Huizenga Business School dean; and Peter Finley, Ph.D., associate professor of sport management.

The Florida Marlins Community Foundation presented the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship with a scholarship check for $3,000.00 prior to the Marlins’ home game on Aug. 4. The scholarship will be given to an undergraduate student enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Sport and Recreation Management program at the Huizenga Business School. It is the sixth scholarship the Marlins’ Foundation has granted to an NSU business student.
