International Institute for Franchise Education Hosts Brazilian Delegation

The International Institute for Franchise Education (IIFE) recently hosted 13 executives from Brazil for an introductory visit to the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship. Dennis Dannacher, Executive Director of Enrollment Services in the Huizenga Business School, showed a video about NSU and answered questions about the degree programs. Cheryl R. Babcock, CFE, Director of IIFE, talked about the franchise, entrepreneurship and executive education programs offered through IIFE and the Hudson Institute. In addition, Babcock and Shannon Bonkowski, IIFE’s program coordinator, talked about the Entrepreneurship Summer Camp and Personal Enrichment Program (E.S.C.A.P.E.) for high school students.  After the presentations, the attendees were given tours of the Huizenga Business School and the new Huizenga Sales Institute.

The visit was coordinated by Alejandra Parra, M.A., Associate Director of International Affairs at NSU and Ana Paula Wilson Alves dos Santos, Director of International Relations at Pathways.

IIFE and the International Affairs Department are discussing other programming initiatives with Pathways. For more information about IIFE, go to www.huizenga.nova.edu/franchise.
