Huizenga Business School Hosts Training Event for Cisco Systems, Inc.
Cisco Systems, Inc. held a seminar at the Huizenga Sales Institute on Feb. 11 as part of the company’s Collaboration Channels Road Show. The road show seminars are being held in major cities across the nation, providing an opportunity for the company’s partner sales managers to learn more about Cisco’s latest collaboration experiences. Cisco estimates this emerging market to be worth $38 billion. They conduct power partner sessions to update those who sell, configure and install products for the company.
The Huizenga Business School’s dean, Michael Fields, Ph.D., spoke to the group to inform them about the training, education, and corporate partnership opportunities available through the Huizenga Sales Institute.
The relationship between Cisco and the Huizenga Business School was established by NSU senior undergraduate student, Eduardo Garcia. Garcia is enrolled in NSU’s Bachelor of Business Administration program, and has been a small business channel partner with Cisco for several years. The facilities at the Huizenga Sales Institute are ideal for Cisco to conduct training and partner seminars. The company plans to expand its relationship with the Huizenga Sales Institute and host more events at the facility in the future, as well explore recruitment and internship opportunities for students.
