Honduran Educators Visit NSU for Professional Development
A group of 80 Honduran educators from the primary, secondary, and university levels recently came to NSU to participate in a professional development seminar entitled, “The New Learning Environments: The Classroom and Beyond.”
The Mar. 29 and 30 session was offered by Ramón Ferreiro, Ph.D., and members of the team of the Office of International Affairs of NSU’s Fischler School of Education and Human Services.
This seminar is another one of the many international initiatives that the Fischler School has embarked on with the objective of giving NSU more global exposure. NSU’s Fischler School currently offers certificate programs, as well as master’s, and doctoral degrees in Latin and Central America, the Caribbean, Asia, and Europe.
The school hopes to add a group of dynamic Honduran educators to its expanding list of international students who continue to make a difference in the lives of those who wish to change the world through quality international education.
