Eat and Dance at the Sherman Library to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Sept. 10
The Alvin Sherman Library celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with two events on Saturday, Sept. 10:
Chef Bil Cooks Latin, 1-2:00 pm
Chef Bil Mitchell of the Plantation Publix Apron’s Cooking School will demonstrate a simple, tasty Latin recipe to wet your palate. Free and open to the public.
Zumba Workout, 4-5:00 pm
Come join Zumba instructor Elsa Vasquez for this Latin-inspired dance exercise in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Please wear sneakers and comfortable exercise clothing to participate. Class size is limited so please arrive 10 minutes early to sign-up. Free and open to the public.
