DeMuth Earns Second SSC Pitcher of the Week Honor
The Sunshine State Conference office has announced its weekly honors, and for the second time this season Nova Southeastern’s Sara DeMuth (Sr., Plant City, Fla.) has been selected as the SSC Pitcher of the Week.
DeMuth picked up three wins, including a pair of complete-game shutouts, in the Sharks’ SSC series at Eckerd. Working 15.0 innings, she permitted just four hits with no walks and 22 strikeouts.
