Training in Parenting Skills Program Begins May 10
Training In Parenting Skills (TIPS) is a parent training program that promotes an active parenting style and focuses on communication with children 2-12 years old. The series of classes, which is offered by the Center for Psychological Studies’ (CPS) Psychology Services Center, Child Adolescent and Family Services Program, also focuses on the prevention of problematic behavior.
Who: Parents and guardians of children, ages 2 – 12
What: Six weekly classes, each class is 2 hours
When: Mondays, May 10 – June 21, 6 – 8 p.m.
Where: Maltz Psychology Building, NSU main campus
Cost: $90 per couple – includes the cost of a book and handouts.
