Computer & Information Sciences School Hosts Fulbright Visiting Scholar, May 23

NSU’s Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences invites you to participate in a talk with Fulbright Visiting Scholar Volodymyr Turchenko, Ph.D., on the “Development of Parallel Neural Network Algorithms” on May 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.

Turchenko will provide a short overview of the Fulbright exchange program and some opportunities for U.S. faculty and professionals. His presentation will highlight his prior research in artificial neural network applications (artificial intelligence field).

The development of a parallel version of the batch pattern training algorithm for multilayer perceptron (MLP), recurrent neural network (RNN), radial-basis neural network (RBF) and recirculation neural network (RcNN) along with the experimental results on different parallel computing systems will be presented in the second part of the presentation.

The event will take place in the Carl DeSantis building on main campus, room 3035 on the third floor.

To RSVP, please email cannady@nova.edu.
