Children Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at NSU Library Fiesta
Children and families recently celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month at NSU’s Alvin Sherman Library with a fiesta that included a puppet show and concert.
At the free Oct. 2 event, Freda Mosquera’s “Legends of Latin America” puppet show and Paco Moreno and Friends’ Andean Music Concert had the audience dancing, singing and laughing while learning about Latin American culture.
Additionally, there were crafts, storytelling and treats to round out the fun day.
