Alumni Night at the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale
On Wednesday, Nov. 30, more than 75 NSU alumni and friends gathered at the Museum of Art|Fort Lauderdale Nova Southeastern University for a special program. Presented by the NSU Alumni Association and the Broward County Alumni Chapter, Alumni Night at the Museum gave attendees the chance to relax and reconnect at an exclusive reception in the Marks Gallery. At the conclusion of the reception, guests viewed the exhibition Offering of the Angels: Old Master Paintings and Tapestries from the Uffizi Gallery. The American premiere of Offering of the Angels highlights tapestries and paintings by some of the greatest artists of the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Among the exhibition’s artworks are paintings by Sandro Botticelli, Parmigianino, and Alessandro Allori, among many others.
National Alumni Association President Paul Sallarulo, M.B.A., and Broward County Alumni Chapter President Phil Schlissel, J.D., greeted attendees. Joanne Ferchland-Parella, Vice President of NSU’s Office of Institutional Advancement, shared updates from the main campus.
