“We arrived at around 6:45 a.m. and began checking walkers in at 7:30 a.m.,” said women’s soccer student-athlete Kat Fleming Jr.,( Miami, Fla.). “We also set up the barrels of water and the breakfast buffet. As the runners/walkers crossed the finish line, we passed out waters and mini cliff bars. A few of the girls handed out the medals to the top times and then we helped clean up. We stayed until around 11a.m. It was an amazing event that granted 30 kids their wishes! It was awesome”. Complete Release
