Women’s Soccer Tops Conference Foe Florida Tech, 3-1
The Nova Southeastern women’s soccer team (2-2-0, 1-0-0 SSC) won its conference opener against the Florida Tech Panthers (4-2-0, 0-1-0 SSC), 3-1, at the NSU Soccer Complex on the night of Saturday, Sept. 15.
With all of the three goals that were scored by NSU occurring in the first half, the Sharks were able to put the match away early. The scoring started in the 18th minute of the match when Malin Broberg (Jr. Stockholm, Sweden) took a shot from 25 yards out, catching the keeper out of position and putting the ball into the lower left corner of the goal post.
