Women’s Postseason Run Ends in National Semis with 80-66 Loss to West Texas A&M
The No. 10 Nova Southeastern women’s basketball team fell behind by as many as 26 in the second half before cutting it to 10, but couldn’t get any closer as their season ended in the NCAA National Semifinals on Wednesday, March 26 to No. 5 West Texas A&M, 80-66.
The Sharks (29-5) were down 15 at the half, 42-27, and it was a 12-point spread with 15:43 left, 51-39. West Texas A&M (32-2) scored the next 10, and 17 of the next 20, for their biggest lead of 26 (68-42 with exactly 10 minutes left). Complete Release
