Women’s Golf Wins Guy Harvey Invitational
After two rounds at the 8th Annual Guy Harvey Invitational, the Nova Southeastern University women’s golf team took home the team title shooting six strokes better than second place. The Sharks finished at +13 shooting a two-round score of 589 (290-299) on the 6,163-yard, par 72 PGA National Palmer course on Tuesday afternoon.
Coming into the tournament, the Sharks had won the past four Shark Invitationals hosted at PGA National. This year, NSU made it a fifth straight with a six-stroke victory after firing a tournament low 290 in the opening round on Monday. In each of the previous Invitational wins, the Sharks have gone on to win the Division II national title. Complete Release
