Women’s Golf Ranked No. 1 in the Nation
The Nova Southeastern women’s golf team finished their fall play at the Lady Paladin Invitational hosted by Furman University with a fourth-place finish out of 15 squads. The Sharks wrapped up the fall season as the top-ranked team in the NCAA Division II. NSU has won the past three D-II NCAA national championships and is set for a strong run at a fourth in the spring.
No. 11 Liliana Cammisa (Fr., Alta Gracia, Cordoba, Argentina) was the top-Shark, finishing tied for third–place (77-79-73—229). She played her lowest card (73) in the third and final round highlighted by three birdies and eleven even-holes.
She was named Women’s Student-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 1.
