Women’s Golf Finish as Runners-up while Men Place Sixth at SSC Championships

The Nova Southeastern University women’s golf team finished in second place while the men ended in sixth at the completion of the 2016 Sunshine State Conference Championships on Tuesday, April 12.
The Shark women had a stirring comeback that saw them shoot the lowest score of any team during any day of the tournament, falling only four shots short of the winners. Four of the squad’s five finished among the top 12 golfers in the event. The men finished in a bunch-up middle of the pack with two individuals in the top 20.
