Women’s Golf Enters the Fall as the Nation’s Top-Team

The Nova Southeastern University women’s golf team is favored to win a record-setting fifth consecutive NCAA National Championship this year, according to the GolfWorld/WGCA Preseason Poll.

The Sharks won their fourth straight title last season while playing with only four golfers in their starting lineup after a mid-season transfer. They will play with a full complement (five golfers) and the help of second-year head coach Amanda Brown, during the Fall to garner 24 of the 25 available first-place votes. The Sharks have six players on their roster for the Fall season, including three newcomers alongside the nation’s top-three golfers according to Golf Stat. Click here to read the complete release.
