Domecq Chantry is second team in first year; Cammisa earns third honor of career.

Two more Nova Southeastern University women’s golfers earned notoriety at the WGCA Division II Awards Banquet on Thursday, May 14 for their performances during the 2014-15 season.

In addition to Jamie Freedman (Fr., Miami Beach, Fla.) receiving the Kim Moore Spirit Award, both Mailen Domecq Chantry (Fr., Mar del Plata, Argentina) and Liliana Cammisa (Sr., Alta Gracia, Argentina) were chosen as WGCA DII All-Americans. Domecq Chantry was named Second Team All-American, while Cammisa was tabbed for the third time in her career by the organization, as an Honorable Mention selection.

Domecq Chantry too was selected as a member of the WGCA All-South Region team on Thursday night. She was one of nine Sunshine State Conference members among the 11 recognized. The SSC was also highly featured in total on the WGCA All-American ledger, with 13 of the 30 honorees coming from the conference.

The three SSC teams representing the conference at the DII National Championships head into Friday’s third round all in the top six with 36 holes to play.
