Women’s Basketball Locks in Three Recruits for 2012-13

Women’s Basketball Head Coach LeAnn Freeland

Nova Southeastern’s women’s basketball coach LeAnn Freeland has announced the signing of three student-athletes for the 2012-13 season. The Sharks will welcome Molly Blomer, Taylor Buie and Alexis Murphy to campus and the hardwood next Fall.

The trio of out-of-state athletes will join Khadejra Young, a senior at Nova High School in Davie, Fla., who signed with the Sharks during the early signing period in the Fall. The four student-athletes will join an NSU squad that racked up 17 wins this season, the most since the 2007-08 campaign, during Freeland’s first season at the helm of the Sharks’ women’s basketball program.
