Women’s Basketball to Host NCAA South Region Tournament, March 15
The Nova Southeastern women’s basketball team was chosen on Sunday night as the No. 1 seed, and as such the host, of the South Region in the 2013 NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament.
The Sharks (20-8) will face No. 8 seed Clark Atlanta (19-10), winners of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, this Friday, March 15, at 6 p.m. at the NSU Arena in the Don Taft University Center. These two teams met up earlier in the season on this same floor, Nov. 17 in the NSU Classic. The Sharks came away with a 91-62 victory.
In the spirit of One NSU, President George Hanbury’s office will provide FREE ADMISSION to this game to all wearing NSU Gear or presenting their Shark Card to the first 100 students. Complete Release
