Women in America: The Evolving Scarf, Jan. 17
Please join us on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in the Cotilla Gallery 2nd floor of the Alvin Sherman Library, 3100 Ray Ferrero Blvd., Davie-Fort Lauderdale, FL 33314, for the second smART Salon for “Women in American The Evolving Scarf”.
A reception will begin at 5 p.m. with the salon starting at 6:15 p.m. to 8 p.m. This is an excellent opportunity to discuss in an arts related environment issues surrounding Muslims and non-Muslims in today’s world. Muslim students from the College of Osteopathic Medicine MASH club as well as Muslim students from the NSU undergraduate program and leaders in the local Muslim community have worked with Wilma Bulkin Siegel, M.D., David Spangler, Ph.D. and Dianna Silvagni, J.D. to bring this event to the NSU campus.
