West Palm Beach SEC Holds “Lunch and Learn”
Dr. Melody Sanger from the Drug Study Institute in Jupiter, Fla., spoke to students at the West Palm Beach SEC.
The Student Government Association of NSU’s West Palm Beach Student Educational Center hosted a Lunch and Learn on March 18 with guest lecturer Melody Sanger from the Drug Study Institute in Jupiter, Fla.
Dr. Sanger discussed how medications get introduced into the market as well as the rigorous effort to monitor the trial patients. All patients at the institute are strictly voluntary and get the benefits of being treated by these experimental medications.
Dr. Sanger also provided information on research opportunities for pharmacy students in West Palm Beach.
