Want a chance to show your creativity? Perform at the Let’s Speak Truth Poetry & Spoken Word Night
Calling all lyricists, poets, performance artists and writers – we want you! If you’re creative, dynamic and love to entertain, then come out and express yourself at NSU’s 5th Annual “Let’s Speak Truth Poetry & Spoken Word Night,” event on Friday, March 2. The event will be held from 6:30-8:30 pm in the Adolfo & Marisela Cotilla Gallery of the Alvin Sherman Library on NSU’s Fort Lauderdale/ Davie campus.
Last year’s performers left the audience breathless, wanting more (see photos below). Let’s give them what they want! This is your opportunity to perform an original piece or share the work of your favorite artist. Performances will be limited to 5 minutes and must be “G” rated (no profanity or graphic language permitted).
Deadline to sign up is Friday, February 23. For more information, contact Christie Williams at wlchrist@nova.edu or 954-262-2106, or LeThesha Harris at lethesha@nova.edu or 954-262-5476.
