Volleyball Welcomes First Three Signees for 2016
Nova Southeastern University head volleyball coach Jennifer King has announced the first three signees of the 2016 recruiting class.
“I am tremendously excited about our incoming class,” said King. “They are bringing depth to our roster, but more than that, they are going to be positive additions to our GR1T culture. I see each of them competing for playing time immediately and helping us bring NSU volleyball to new heights.”
South Florida native Tashalyn Begon will bring her skills as an outside hitter. The Barry University transfer was named Second Team All-Sunshine State Conference in 2014-15 after amassing 285 kills, 163 digs and 36 blocks during that season. While attending Archbishop Edward A. McCarthy High School, Begon was named Sun-Sentinel Second Team All-County and made the Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-Star Team.
