Volleyball Tabbed Eighth in SSC Preseason Poll

On Wednesday, Aug. 15, the Sunshine State Conference released the 2012 volleyball preseason poll in which Nova Southeastern was ranked eighth by the conference’s coaches and sports information directors. Tampa, which was a NCAA Final Four team last season, picked up 192 points to garner the top spot.
The Sharks will return a core group of players from last season’s team, including All-South Region honorable mention selection Danielle Graham (Sr., Cincinnati, Ohio). Fellow starting seniors Jordan Pappas (Naperville, Ill.) and Paige Boivin (Plainfied, Ill) are also returning for one final campaign in a Sharks uniform. Additionally, the 2012 squad will feature four newcomers who will provide depth to a Sharks’ squad that is intent on making an impact within the SSC. Click here to read the complete release.
