Visit the JUICEBLENDZ Bus on Campus, Apr. 9

South Florida entrepreneur Adam Ogden, CEO of JUICEBLENDZ, will be on NSU’s main campus on Monday, Apr. 9. The founder of JUICEBLENDZ, which has a location in the Don Taft University Center Food Court and one in the Health Professions Division, will be bringing the JUICEBLENDZ bus to campus so NSU students, staff and faculty can enjoy samplings of the various juice products they offer.

You can find the Mobile Blending Unit on campus on Monday, Apr. 9 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in front of the University Center, and from 3:45-4:45 p.m. on the circle between the Carl DeSantis Building and the Alvin Sherman Library.

Ogden, who sold his first successful smoothie chain in his twenties, has poised himself to lead a revolution in health-conscious South Florida’s smoothie market. He made his debut into the smoothie arena with a smoothie and juice bar chain he founded in Tallahassee, Florida over a decade ago. Following the success of his initial venture, the Miami native blended his experience to develop JUICEBLENDZ, a modern smoothie spot that eschews sugar, chemicals and mixes – the common ingredients found in the cups at most smoothie chains.

Ogden is the youngest member ever of the Jim Moran Institute of Global Entrepreneurship roundtable as well as an active Rotarian. In April 2007, he was listed in Florida International Magazine’s 108 Movers, Shakers & Newsmakers as a Power Player. In 2010, Adam was named to the South Florida Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list, and in 2011, under his leadership, JUICEBLENDZ was named Business of the Year by the South Florida Business Journal.
