Vaccinations are Important for Adults Too
Are your immunizations and vaccinations up to date? Did you know that adults need vaccines too?
There are many important reasons for adults to get vaccinated. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that you talk to your health care provider or pharmacist to make sure you are up-to-date on the vaccines that are right for you. To make an appointment at NSU’s Health Care Centers, including the employee or student clinics, call (954) NSU-CARE (678-2273).
NSU’s Pharmacy also provides adult vaccinations for your convenience. Employees and students are covered under our health insurance plan. To make an appointment, call (954) 262-4550.
If you have not been vaccinated against Chicken pox, be aware that adults may have more severe symptoms and may be at high risk for complications.
