Free Workshops for NSU Employees Hosted by NSU’s Office of Human Resources, Oct. 13
This fall NSU’s Office of Human Resources will host several free development workshops for employees.
The first workshop focuses on stress management and relationship building by exploring 12 essential Life Skills. Titled, “Trigger-Proof Your Way to Success”,will be led by author, psychologist, and educator, Gay Lynn Williamson-Grigas, M.A. As a trainer with Florida International University and Florida Atlantic University, and an associate faculty at the University of Phoenix, Williamson-Grigas teaches people to successfully hold on to their personal power and keep their peace of mind.
“Trigger-Proof Your Way to Success” will be offered on Oct. 13 from noon to 1 p.m.
The second workshop, back by popular demand and titled, “Project Management Boot Camp,” offers practical, real-world, and hands-on experience in learning the principles and practices of project management that lead to effective and successful project implementation. This two-day workshop will be facilitated by Lara Chabina-Crowe who holds a bachelors of liberal arts and science in international business from San Diego State University. She was certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) in Frankfurt, Germany as a project management professional (PMP) in 2003. Chabina-Crowe is a consulting lecturer for the NSU’s H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship.
“Project Management Boot Camp” will be offered on Oct. 26 and 27 from 8:30 a.m. to12:30 p.m.
