University School Students Volunteer at Post Office to Help “Stamp Out Hunger”
University School of NSU recently participated in the National Association of Letter Carriers’ 2012 “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive.
At the Davie Post Office Branch alone, 32 University School volunteers put in a total of 87 volunteer hours to sort food arriving on 55 post office trucks totaling 9 pallets of food for a combined weight of 11,520 pounds.
