University School Students Perform Musical “Sweet Charity”

Tickets are on sale now for University School of NSU’s upcoming musical performance of “Sweet Charity,” the smash Broadway hit based on a Neil Simon play.

The Cy Coleman score includes such memorable individual numbers as “Big Spender,” “Rhythm of Life” and “If My Friends Could See Me Now.” The musical version follows dance hall hostess Charity Hope Valentine on her quest for love in “cool-cat mid-1960s Manhattan.” One article describes Charity as sweet and naïve and really hilarious… though she doesn’t mean to be.

Reserve tickets in your desired seating section now. Show times include:

  • Opening Night: Thursday, Feb. 9 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Additional performances:
    Friday, Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m.
    Saturday, Feb. 11 at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
