University School of NSU Offers Unique Summer Camps

Let University School of NSU help your students remain active during the summer months. Whether they want to hone their computer skills, keep their academic skills sharp, or play a sport, there is something for everyone when school’s out.

Camp Nova
This camp is uniquely designed to allow campers to choose a specialty core each session from an eclectic selection of activities while also exploring and gaining new skills. A camper’s day also consists of swim lessons in NSU’s Olympic size pool as well as opportunities to participate in wacky and interactive Fun Fridays. Weekly field trips will have campers enjoying exciting off-campus and in-house activities.

Camp Nova prides itself in providing an atmosphere of warmth and inclusiveness. Most counselors are certified teachers who have numerous years of experience in working with children in the classroom and at camp. Our camp size ratio is approximately ten campers to one counselor, ensuring a safe and secure atmosphere where counselors know their campers.

If you have been searching for an interesting, stimulating, safe, caring, and productive summer program complete with lots of summer fun, Camp Nova is the answer. Camp is open to both public and private school students in grades K-8.

Summer Art Institute
The Performing Arts Summer Camp at the Summer Art Institute is designed to provide a fun and exciting experience for children in grades 1-12. Students will be grouped according to their grade-level and our experienced faculty will guide them in exploring acting through voice and movement, story-telling, individual and group exercises, character work, and theater games. At the end of each camp, students will showcase their work in a musical theatre production.

Summer Scholars
Summertime provides the perfect opportunity for students to devote themselves to their favorite subject or concentrate on an area that needs improvement. University School offers Lower, Middle, and Upper School courses for credit/non-credit in a variety of disciplines.

Athletic Clinics
University School of NSU’s Athletic Clinics provide kids with unique opportunities to learn the fundamentals of various sports in a fun, stimulating environment. Each week will be packed full of activities where kids will learn sportsmanship and sport-specific skills, ultimately developing a better understanding of each sport.
