University School of NSU Hosts Renowned Parenting Expert Anthony Wolf at Literary Celebration, May 4-5

The University Family Organization of University School of NSU invites the community to attend its 2011 Literary Celebration on Wed. May 4 and Thurs. May 5, featuring renowned parenting author Anthony E. Wolf, Ph.D., the author of Get Out of My Life, but First Could You Drive Me & Cheryl to the Mall: A Parent’s Guide to the New Teenager.

Wolf received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the City University of New York. For the past 25 years he has been in private practice seeing children and adolescents in the Springfield, Massachusetts area. Wolf is the father of two grown children and has written five books on parenting and numerous articles that have appeared in Child Magazine, Parents Magazine, and Family Circle Magazine. He has also written a monthly column for Child Magazine.

The exclusive cocktail reception with Wolf will be May 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Windows Room at the Sheraton Ft. Lauderdale. Tickets to the Cocktail Reception are $75.

Then, continue the festivities on May 5 with the Author Luncheon from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Sheraton Ft. Lauderdale. Guests who attend the luncheon will also have the opportunity to shop at the boutique featuring unique high-end vendors from throughout South Florida selling everything from personal accessories and home accents to dinnerware and children’s clothing.

The boutique opens at 10 a.m. and the open-seating Luncheon begins at 12 p.m. Tickets are $60, and include the chance to win raffle prizes, as well as complimentary valet parking.
