University School Athletic Teams Among the Top

The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Academic Team Champion recognition program honors teamwork not only in competition, but in the classroom as well. The program recognizes teams in each of the Association’s 20 sanctioned sports and 10 recognized sports, naming an Academic Team Champion in each classification.

All eligible University School fall sports athletic teams placed in the top 6 in their respective classifications in the FHSAA Academic Team Champion Program. This strong showing continues to demonstrate that University School is among the leaders in the State of Florida in interscholastic athletic competition as well as in the classroom.  A full listing of results is available below:

Boys Cross Country – 2nd in Class 1A with a team GPA of 3.896

Football – 1st in Class 4A with a team GPA of 3.364

Boys Swimming/Diving – 2nd in Class 1A with a team GPA of 3.723

Girls Swimming/Diving – 4th in Class 1A with a team GPA of 3.776

Girls Volleyball – 6th in Class 4A with a team GPA of 3.646
