Two NSU Softball Players Earn NFCA All-Academic Honors
Jennie Von Doellen and Chrissy Tabulov
NSU softball players Jennie Von Doellen and Chrissy Tabulov were named as 2012-13 National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America Scholar Athletes this week.
Von Doellen, majoring in exercise and sports science, finished the last academic year with a 3.78 GPA. She was the Sharks’ ace last season and recorded the second most strikeouts in the SSC, with 191, in 229.1 innings pitched.
Tabulov, a biology major, earned a 3.81 GPA in 2012-13. Tabulov was a key contributor for NSU last season, playing in 43 games for the Sharks. She batted .250 and recorded 14 RBI. Complete Release
