The Qualitative Report has Surpassed One Million Downloads

tqr new logo

Nova Southeastern University (NSU) is pleased to announce The Qualitative Report (TQR), an NSU online qualitative research journal created by Ron Chenail, Ph. D., has surpassed one million downloads. In 2014 NSU purchased the BEPRESS software to create NSUWorks which allowed TQR to be housed on a platform that provided greater outreach for the journal. Over the last 3 years, TQR surpassed over 1,000,000 downloaded articles, with over 700,000 being downloaded in the last year alone. This equates to readers from around the world downloading 2,000 to 3,000 TQR articles every day.

The Qualitative Report is also recognized internationally for its quality: SCOPUS ranks TQR in its first quartile for Social Sciences – Cultural Studies journals; Thomson Reuters, now Clarivate Analytics, includes TQR in its Web of Science via the Emerging Sources Citation Index; and DOAJ, the Directory of Open Access Journals lists TQR in its collection of high quality, open access, peer-reviewed journals.

The Qualitative Report also organizes an Annual Conference every year in January. The upcoming 9th Annual Conference is still accepting submissions on a case by case basis. TQR2018 will be held January 11, 12, and 13, of 2018 on NSU’s Fort Lauderdale/Davie. The theme of the conference is “The Phenomenology of Qualitative Research.”

A number of NSU faculty and graduate students will be presenting at the conference, as well as dozens of national and international scholars and researchers.

To learn more about the conference and to register please access the conference website located here.
