Test of NSU’s Emergency Notification System: July 28

Reminder! There will be a test of the NSU Emergency Notification System on this Wednesday, July 28 beginning at 2:00 p.m.

If you have not registered a telephone number as your Campus Emergency Alert Number, please do so ASAP. This number will be used in this test and when there is an emergency.

Remember, your caller ID will display: 800-256-5065 (NSU emergency hotline). Save this number to your contacts so you will recognize it as an important NSU Alert. Additionally, a SMS text message will come from “89361.”  Save this number to your contacts so you will recognize it as an important NSU Alert.

To Update Your Campus Emergency Alert Number

NSU students, faculty and staff should visit the NSU WebSTAR system (http://webstar.nova.edu) to ensure you have registered the telephone number where you can be reached as your Campus Emergency Alert Number.  To update your Campus Emergency Alert Number, go to the WebSTAR site.  After logging in to WebSTAR, the red-striped box (on the right side of the page) has links to view and instructions to update your Campus Emergency Alert Number.
