NSU’s tennis team was recently honored as an Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team and three of the student-athletes were recognized as Scholar Athletes.

The Sharks, which was one of 66 schools in NCAA Division-II to receive the honor, earned the team award for having a cumulative team GPA of 3.2.

The team was further acknowledged for having three ITA Scholar Athletes, namely: Dominique Wimmer (Sr., Guntramsdorf, Austria), Austin Lavallii (Jr., Williamston, Mich.) and Federica Longo (Jr., Buenos Aires, Argentina).
