Tennis Continues to Roll at Navy’s Moore Invitational

The Nova Southeastern tennis team concluded day two of the Naval Academy’s Bill and Sandra Moore Invitational with strong play in both singles and doubles.

Two NSU teams finished doubles play on Saturday, Sept. 22, having earned their spots on the second day due to multiple wins on the previous day. Kamryn Blackwood (Jr., Farmington, N.M.) and Bianca Roberts (So., Fort Walden Beach, Fla.) were defeated in a tough match against Navy’s Antill/Winter, 9-7. In the A-flight, Carlee Rizzolo (Fr., Livingston, N.J.) and Austin Lavallii (Sr., Willimaston, Mich.) ended their doubles run against the Seton Hall team of Sher/Portela-Berrios, falling by a score of 8-3.
